Macaron Get started
Open your first project and start an agent.
Install the desktop app
Download the installer for your device at https://macaron.sh/download. On macOS, move Macaron to Applications. On Windows, run the installer and choose its installation folder. Preview builds may show a system warning because signing is still being finalized.
Open a folder
Choose Open a local folder, then select your project. Macaron works with the files in that folder. You do not need a paid Macaron account to use local projects.
Start your agent
Open New agent and choose Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or Droid. Connect that agent’s account or API key when prompted. Describe one task, review its proposed actions, then inspect the changed files and run your project checks.
